Your Opportunity As part of the EBSCOlearning team, known for best-in-class training solutions in academic skill building, test preparation, and career development, the Content Editorial Intern will provide critical editorial, product, and administrative support across several initiatives, focusing on content quality, modernization, and learner engagement. In this role, you will engage in various projects related to LearningExpress and Accel, gaining practical experience in educational content, marketing, and platform enhancements that benefit learners of all ages. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on significant, real-world projects while honing your editorial, research, and collaborative skills in a dynamic product environment. This position is remote and based in the U.S. only (excluding U.S. territories), with required working hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EDT. As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program, you will participate in a structured orientation starting in June, along with various enrichment and training events across the company. What You'll Do Support editorial tasks and content development workflows; including research, planning, copyediting, proofreading, revising, quality assurance, and maintaining content in our content management system (CMS). Contribute to marketing and communications by organizing assets and assisting in the creation of promotional materials and sales enablement content. Assist with content updates and modernization projects that enhance usability, consistency, and accessibility across products. Support research and analysis related to product initiatives, market trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in educational content. Utilize Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, various AI tools, and other intranet applications as necessary. Collaborate with multiple teams and receive mentorship from experienced editors and product professionals. Perform additional related tasks as assigned based on team priorities. Your Team You will join a temporary product and content team of 11 members who appreciate the work-life balance that remote work offers. About You Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English, communications, writing, education, business, or a similar program, graduating in December 2026 or later. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent command of English and keen attention to detail. Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. Competent in using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). What Sets You Apart An interest in educational technology, instructional design, or digital learning. Previous editorial, writing, or content-related experience (academic, professional, or extracurricular, such as student publications, blogs, or digital projects). Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and MLA. Adaptable and willing to learn new tools or systems; curiosity about or basic knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is a plus. Pay Range USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr. Your actual salary offer will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s location.
