
Senior Associate Director of Digital Strategy, Advancement Communications - Univ

* Help manage centralized marketing email oversight; serve on the front lines of technical SFMC troubleshooting with UA users; assist with new SFMC features; help develop SFMC engagement reports to measure results and support list hygiene.* Build SFMC emails (custom and templated), manage approval process, and schedule deployment; collaborate with UA partners from concept to deployment to ensure best practices and brand alignment.* Develop training documentation for SFMC email builders/users; produce documentation for new Marketing Cloud features; help enforce best practices and university brand/style alignment; monitor ongoing template and design needs.* Analyze email engagement across departments and make recommendations for improvement.* Develop automations and journeys to streamline communication with specific audience segments.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Normal office environment* Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations* Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for broadcast email (accessibility standards, mobile optimization, A/B testing, etc.)* Strong understanding of the importance of a cohesive and consistent visual brand identity.* Prior experience in a higher education or non-profit (especially advancement) communications environment.* Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.* Competitive health insurance packages with priority appointments and lower copays/coinsurance.* Take advantage of our free Metro transit U-Pass for eligible employees.* WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.* WashU covers the cost of tuition for you and your family, including dependent undergraduate-level college tuition up to 100% at WashU and 40% elsewhere after seven years with us.Washington University in St. Louis' collective success is significantly attributed to the passion and outstanding efforts of our community.
