Head of Marketing (Part-time / Fractional, Women's Health App)
Femtech Insider Ltd., San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Role Summary
ProMom is an AI‑powered women’s health app supporting women across the full motherhood journey, from fertility through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. We’re looking for a senior, hands‑on Head of Marketing to own organic growth, brand, and storytelling at a pivotal stage. This is a part‑time, fractional role with the opportunity to grow into a full‑time leadership position as the company scales.
About ProMom ProMom is built for career‑driven women navigating motherhood. Our app combines trusted, science‑backed guidance with intelligent tools that reduce mental load and help women make confident decisions at every stage of motherhood. We have a live product, growing organic traction, and strong momentum. Now we’re investing in marketing leadership to scale our brand thoughtfully and credibly.
The Role You will own ProMom’s marketing end to end. This is not a people management role. It is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of strategy and execution, working directly with the CEO.
You’ll build and execute our organic growth engine, shape the brand narrative, and establish ProMom as a trusted voice in women’s health.
Time commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Remote. US‑based strongly preferred. Exceptional global candidates considered.
What you’ll work on
Build and execute our organic growth strategy across key channels, with a strong focus on Instagram, YouTube and content marketing
Develop a consistent content engine that supports brand, education, SEO/AEO/GEO, and retention
Lead influencer marketing, including identifying, testing, and scaling creator partnerships across fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting
Own light PR and targeted media outreach to drive awareness and credibility in women’s health and parenting spaces
Support app discovery and conversion through App Store Optimization, messaging, and positioning
Partner closely with product to align marketing with onboarding, activation, and retention
Build trust and community through thoughtful, mission‑aligned storytelling
Use data to inform decisions, including comfort working with tools like Amplitude or similar analytics platforms
Bring in freelancers or collaborators where helpful, while remaining hands‑on
Who You Are
Senior marketing leader with experience driving growth for early‑stage consumer apps or startups
Strong background in women’s health, femtech, or adjacent spaces. Experience in fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting is a major plus
Comfortable owning both strategy and execution in a lean environment
Strong instincts for brand, narrative, and audience trust, not just growth tactics
Experienced with organic acquisition, content, social, influencers, and earned media
Data‑literate and able to connect marketing efforts to app discovery, conversion, and retention
Startup‑oriented, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience
Equity grants available for the right candidate
Opportunity to grow into a full‑time leadership role as ProMom scales
Why This Role This is a chance to take real ownership of marketing at a women’s health company that already has product traction and a clear mission. You’ll help shape how millions of women discover, trust, and engage with ProMom at a critical stage of growth.
