
Position Overview
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the day-to‑day operational and reporting needs of the Sales organization. This role focuses on data accuracy, reporting execution, and system support, enabling Sales leadership to operate with reliable information and consistent processes. This is a hands‑on, execution‑oriented role for someone early in their Sales Operations career. The Analyst works closely with Sales Operations leadership and translates guidance into usable reports, templates, and workflows. This role does not own sales strategy, system architecture, or revenue forecasting.
Support Salesforce administration and daily system operations under leadership guidance
Maintain CRM data hygiene, including account, contact, and opportunity updates
Build and maintain basic custom Salesforce reports and dashboards to support sales visibility
Assist with user access, permissions, and simple configuration tasks
Document reporting logic and field definitions as they are created
Escalate system limitations or improvement opportunities to Sales Operations leadership
Reporting & Analysis Support (Excel / BI Tools)
Create and maintain recurring sales reports based on leadership direction
Build custom Excel reports and templates to support pipeline, bookings, and activity tracking
Perform basic analysis to identify data issues, trends, or anomalies
Partner with Sales Operations leadership to refine reports as needs evolve
Maintain lightweight documentation for reports and data definitions
Forecast & Planning Support
Prepare and validate data inputs for forecasting cycles
Update forecast reports and tracking files
Monitor changes between forecast submissions
Ensure forecast materials are delivered accurately and on time
Process & Enablement Support
Help translate informal workflows into simple, repeatable processes
Create lightweight documentation for reports, tools, and workflows supported
Assist with onboarding by explaining reports and systems to new users
Identify friction points and propose improvements for leadership review
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Analyst roles
Working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and CRM fundamentals
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, filters, basic lookups)
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Success Metrics
Timely delivery of accurate sales reports
Adoption and usage of custom reports by Sales teams
Improved visibility into pipeline and activity metrics
Reduced manual reporting effort over time
Clear, usable documentation for supported reports and workflows
Salary & Benefits
$65,000 – $75,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
PTO Flexible work environment. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office/ 2 days remote
