This position is designed for an individual pursuing a long-term career as a Golf Course Superintendent and offers hands‑on training, mentorship, and professional development in all aspects of golf course management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in daily golf course maintenance and grow‑in operations
Work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent on planning and execution of maintenance programs
Supervise and train maintenance staff
Participate in irrigation management and turf health monitoring
Assist with fertilizer and pesticide applications in compliance with regulations
Help oversee course projects and renovation punch‑list items
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or currently enrolled
Golf course maintenance or internship experience preferred
Pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Valid driver’s license
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate from $20-$28 an hour (DOE), plus Overtime.
