depending on your skills and experience. Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases. This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week. Average weekly hours for this position are between
10-13 hours per week . Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is
required . Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service. The retail merchandiser position consists of three major components: Day-to-day engagement:
Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities. Maintain professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. Holiday support:
Seasonal demand around holidays (Valentine\u2019s Day, Easter, Mother\u2019s Day, Father\u2019s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) with additional days and extended hours. May be required to work on actual holidays and weekends during peak periods. Department Resets:
May be part of a team responsible for installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodels, which could include evenings or weekends. One Team Vision:
Part of a network of merchandisers who support other team members in their territories. Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding job requiring energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs or step ladders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You're at least 18 years of age. You're able to read, write and understand English. You have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information. You have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet. You have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
