Web Content Writer
Within the Workforce Technology organization at Intuit, the Collaboration and Productivity team owns technology offerings that help connect Intuit employees to the people, information, data and tools they need to do their jobs. Our portfolio includes the core intranet, team collaboration tools, synchronous technologies like video conferencing, and chat & voice/telephony.
The Collaboration and Productivity team is looking for a take‑charge individual with significant experience developing online content to own and lead the content experiences presented to Intuit employees.
Responsibilities
Own the overall content quality and governance for Intuit's intranet
Create, maintain and enforce content quality standards
Be the primary owner of Workforce Technology's intranet content working with the IT care organization and other tech groups to maximize the impact of their messaging.
Assist knowledge domain experts in evolving knowledge content based on analysis of use and content.
Consult with content owners from around the company on best approaches for delivering their messages to Intuit employees
Review and revise content submitted for publication to create content that is optimized for web and mobile
Provide mentoring and coaching for others in the area of web-based content and communication
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or a related field
Experience producing online content in a corporate environment
Experience in technical writing breaking down complex topics from technical experts and making them understandable to an average person
Experience producing clean and engaging online content from rough draft material
Experience working with designers and/or enforcing design standards
Experience with Informational Architecture and content organization and design a big plus
Experience with SharePoint Content Management System (CMS) and publishing a plus
Experience working with alternative, multimedia forms of communication such as video, imagery, or animation a plus Intuit information Imagine a career where your creative inspiration can fuel BIG innovation.
