The key responsibilities of a Golf Shop Attendant on our team are to:
Greet and welcome all members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Assist customers with merchandise selection, purchase transactions, and special orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment within the Golf Shop.
Educate customers on the latest golf equipment, apparel, and accessories, providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed.
Handle point of sale transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking merchandise, and setting up displays.
Support in organizing and coordinating golf-related events and promotions.
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with the golf course staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
A successful candidate will:
Possess strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to work in a team environment and under minimal supervision.
Possess or be able to acquire familiarity with golf products and terminology.
Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
Be able to lift and move objects up to twenty pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods of time.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
