
Responsibilities
Reconcile various General Ledger Accounts (liability, asset and receivable accounts, and suspense accounts) Reconcile domestic and international bank accounts Reconcile security purchases, sales, dividends, interest, and fees Maintain accurate and current departmental desktop procedures Investigate and research reconciling items, breaks, and discrepancies in a timely manner Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Treasury, and Operations) to resolve differences Monitor and escalate aged breaks in accordance with established procedures Process various journal entries in trust accounting system and general ledger Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy Participate in audits, and internal reviews by providing requested documentation and explanations Assist other members of the Bank Operations team around deadlines with time sensitive projects Be available to work unannounced overtime when needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 1–2 years of experience in bank operations, reconciliations, accounting, or financial services operations Working knowledge of cash, securities, and general ledger reconciliation processes High attention to detail with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic (self-motivated, disciplined, focused and hardworking) Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Oracle preferred The base salary range for this position is $60K - $80K. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive-based bonus based on individual and company performance. Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (K) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability covering and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
