Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Benefits Consultant for the Los Angeles public sector (including City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, and LAUSD), allowing for some work from home. The Benefits Consultant will manage and administer employee benefits programs, provide consulting on benefits plans, and offer customer service to clients. Tasks will include benefits enrollment assistance, employee education on benefits options, and liaising with insurance carriers to ensure optimal service delivery.
Qualifications
Skills in Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits
Consulting experience related to benefits programs
Knowledge in Insurance practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate independently in a hybrid work environment
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
Relevant industry certifications are beneficial
