Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures to deliver high‑quality imaging that supports accurate physician interpretation and positive patient outcomes.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain strict radiation safety standards to ensure safe, compliant, and patient‑centered nuclear medicine care.
Operate and monitor nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images and maintain consistent clinical performance.
Ensure precise patient positioning, clinical documentation, and timely image submission to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB‑NCT) also accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
