Location
Our Talent Acquisition Specialist will be an integral part of our Global People Strategy team. This role is based remotely in Eastern US or Eastern Canada for independent contractors with an expected duration of 6 months. Responsibilities
Lead the full life-cycle hiring process for assigned roles. Locate and engage passive candidates using various sourcing techniques, supporting both current and future hiring needs. Foster a “referral culture” to encourage employee-driven talent referrals across teams. Demonstrate a strong commitment to DEI goals by proactively sourcing, building diverse talent pipelines, and ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. Build strong relationships with hiring managers to enhance collaboration, alignment, and accountability throughout the hiring process. Coach and guide hiring managers, providing training and best practices to equip them for success. Partner closely with business units to maintain a deep understanding of their evolving needs and stay informed on industry trends Leverage data to drive informed hiring decisions. Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and a respectful interview process that reflects our DoiT’s values. Plan and execute programs and initiatives that enhance TA processes, efficiency, and knowledge sharing. Partner with the Employee Engagement Specialist to promote DoiT’s employer brand as an exceptional workplace. Qualifications
A strong passion for recruiting and talent acquisition. 1-2 years of experience as an in-house recruiter working for a SaaS tech company, hiring for both technical and non-technical roles. Hands-on ownership and leadership of the end-to-end hiring process, including writing job descriptions, interviewing, collaborating closely with hiring managers, negotiating, and managing offers. Proven sourcing skills with the ability to find, engage, and activate passive candidates effectively. Proficiency in recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management/reporting techniques. Results-oriented, agile, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment. A people person with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Native level English. Bonus Points
Experience in successfully implementing AI in hiring efforts. Experience working with Greenhouse. An experience / understanding of the cloud management space.
