ALL ABOUT STYLE A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, bringing the energy of style to life with compelling in‑store presentations that enable quick and easy self‑discovery. Style Consultants welcome guests, help them on sales floor and fitting rooms, ensure the floor is set correctly, and manage inventory, pricing, and visual merchandising for areas including A&A, Home and Seasonal. Key Knowledge Guest‑service fundamentals and support a guest‑first culture across the store Retail business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory management, guest purchasing patterns, pricing and promotion strategies, visual merchandising Industry trends: style, seasonality, brand differentiation Skills to set, fill, and price the floor to meet guest needs Typical Responsibilities Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests. Observe guests to understand if assistance is needed and tailor approach. Use store tools to understand key metrics, sales goals, inventory levels, and guest traffic. Keep the sales floor replenished and organized for a guest‑ready environment. Stay current on trends, brand guides, and execute visual standards. Maintain fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and provide recommendations. Use tools and products to solve guest issues and improve experience. Prioritize workload based on business and guest needs with minimal disruption. Support product assortment changes, set transitions on time, re‑merchandising, and maintain brand space. Ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed. Set accurate promotional signage for defined categories. Execute sales plans, planograms, and pricing changes. Perform RFID scans and system audits for inventory accuracy. Execute backroom fills, replenish, and maintain organization of aisles. Balance guest interaction with task priority. Use tools like myCheckout or Target App to offer selections not in store. Thank guests and reinforce future assistance. Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Work safely, identify hazards, comply with safety policies. Support back‑up cashier, order pick‑up, Drive‑up duties while ensuring compliance. Perform other duties as needed. What We Are Looking For
