We’re hiring a

Freelance

Video Marketing Strategist

who can sit across the table from senior marketers and confidently answer:

“If video is supposed to move the needle… what should we actually be making, and why?”

This is a strategy seat with real ownership — you’ll run a portfolio of clients (with your coordinator) and ensure video strategy turns into high-performing creative.

This is a high-growth role for someone early in their strategy career (typically 3–6 years experience) who wants to become a senior video & marketing strategist.

What You’ll Do You’ll own strategy + account health for around B2B clients, including:

Leading client calls and presenting quarterly QBRs

Owning client relationships and health

Auditing video ecosystems (website, ads, YouTube, social, sales enablement, events)

Analyzing competitors and identifying gaps/opportunities

Building clear video roadmaps aligned to business goals + funnel

Turning strategy into creative direction the team can execute

Driving performance: distribution, repurposing, campaign usage, iteration

Reviewing deliverables and giving clear feedback to editors/production

Creating episode outlines, hooks, scripting/refinement, thumbnail direction

How You’ll Be Measured

Client retention and growth

Video + campaign performance

Client satisfaction

Funnel impact (pipeline influence, conversions, lead quality)

Must-Haves

Strong presentation skills (you’ll lead weekly calls + QBRs)

Strong creative taste (you know what will and won’t work on camera)

Organized and can follow processes (or build them!)

Deep interest in digital marketing and AI-enabled workflows

Understands content marketing analytics & performance

3+ years experience in B2B marketing, content strategy, video marketing, or agency client services

Role Details

Part-time

Compensation: $500-$1,500/mo per client

Remote

Weekly calls + quarterly QBRs
