Job Title & Department Physical Therapy Resident Department: Ross | Inpatient Rehab

Position Description The Physical Therapy Resident is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented acute rehabilitation program. These services are offered via inpatient and outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with a variety of cardiopulmonary conditions. The team members report to the rehabilitation manager as part of the OSUWMC Acute Rehab program structure.

The Physical Therapy Resident works under the general supervision of the Rehab Manager, Program Director and Associate Director of Education and Professional Development. The Physical Therapy Resident evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to a team leader, they are also responsible to each other, staff physical therapists, to those they supervise and to other participants included in the patient care activities.

Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience. Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
