Job Summary The Server position is responsible for taking food and beverage orders and providing high level guest service while efficiently and courteously serving our valued dining room patrons.
The Details
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $12.15 per hour + Tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 32-40 hours a week - 5 days per week (includes weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values.
Continually focus on providing exceptional guest service as a primary goal, both in how work is conducted and when interacting with guests.
Accurately fulfill and charge guests for food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items including daily food specials, portions, preparation, ingredients and presentation of menu items. Be knowledgeable of wine, beer and liquor.
Comply with all company Food & Beverage Standards.
Comply with all State of Arizona alcohol serving laws & company policies.
Comply with all company policies regarding tip reporting.
Perform all opening and closing side duties as assigned per shift requirement.
Responsible for maintaining proper sanitation of the dining room and side station areas while adhering to all County regulated food sanitation programs.
Bring any alcohol/ intoxication related issues with guests to the immediate attention of the bartender, working lead or Restaurant Manager.
Communicate with Manager on out of stock items or guest food issues.
Handle guest complaints politely and in a timely fashion involving the management when necessary.
Communicate with team members for additional service with any tables in assigned section.
Attend all required training seminars/classes as assigned by the management.
Stringently comply with all company appearance and hygiene standards.
Adhere to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to be able to legally serve and sell alcohol beverages in the state of Arizona.
Previous front of the house experience as a Server, Cashier, Host, or Expediter.
Physical Requirements include:
Constantly: Stand, walk, and lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
Frequently: Handling and reaching outward, lift/carry up to 20 lbs., and push/pull up to 12 lbs.
Occasionally: Sit, reach above shoulder, squat/kneel, bend, lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
