Senior Regional Manager
to lead the European expansion for a global "Little Giant" in the field of
Near-Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy .
Our client is at the forefront of a technological shift, using proprietary MEMS technology to move beyond bulky, legacy laboratory hardware toward miniaturized, high-performance sensing. With a global footprint and over 4,000 customers, they are now seeking a strategic leader to architect their next phase of growth across Europe.
The Mandate Based in
Germany , you will take full ownership of an established regional hub. Your primary objective is to lead the current team of 6 and drive the expansion to 10+ professionals, while defining the commercial and technical roadmap for key markets including Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy:
Work closely with Global Leadership to define and execute the European sales and service strategy.
Team Scaling & Leadership:
Manage and grow a distributed high-performance team, focusing on capability cultivation and performance management.
Technological Disruption:
Champion the adoption of portable and online NIR solutions within the Agriculture (Grains/Oils), Food & Feed, and Industrial Fermentation sectors.
Key Account Management:
Directly influence "Design-in" strategies for major regional players and industrial partners.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Authority:
Extensive senior-level experience in the
Spectroscopy (NIR/IR)
or analytical instrumentation industry.
Proven Leadership:
A track record of managing regional teams and successfully scaling operations in high-growth environments.
Market Insight:
Deep understanding of the European agricultural processing or chemical manufacturing landscapes.
Language & Status:
Native or fluent
English

resident or citizen of Germany
to meet local operational requirements.
Mobility:
Willingness to travel 70–75% within the region to support a distributed team and engage with key clients.
