About This Role We’re seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial Pricing team in Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY. This role partners closely with our domestic sales channels to support pricing initiatives and programs for the Commercial products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mathematics/analytics, market analysis and a customer‑centric mindset.
Job Description
Analyze and evaluate domestic and international sales opportunities related to HVAC equipment
Provide price recommendations to the sales force by analyzing regional market pricing and competitive bid information
Recommend and authorize pricing based on project details, market conditions and established pricing guidelines
Strategically participate in contract negotiations
Work with complex data sets to determine and set competitive price levels for assigned distributors & propose findings to management
Provide statistical reports to illustrate how pricing strategies impact profitability and sales volume
Collaborate across functions on pricing related initiatives (independent project focus)
Independently manage assigned process improvement projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, and/or pricing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and research skills
Effective reporting and presentation skills
Excellent customer service & relationship building skills
Resourceful problem‑solving skills to analyze & resolve issues effectively
Pricing/negotiating experience
SAP knowledge or experience
