Investment Analyst/Associate - Principal Investments (Private Credit)
A top global alternative asset manager is seeking an
Analyst/Associate
to join its principal investing team with a focus on private credit. The group invests across a range of structures including unitranche, second lien, HoldCo PIK, mezzanine, and preferred equity. Team members operate as generalists across industries and deal types.
Responsibilities
Analyze, execute, and manage private credit investments.
Lead due‑diligence processes with internal teams, counterparties, and external experts.
Build financial models and conduct KPI and quality‑of‑earnings analyses.
Prepare and present materials for investment committee meetings.
Candidate Profile
1-3 years of investment banking or investing experience; M&A or leveraged finance
Candidates coming from buy-side PC shops looking to make a lateral move are strongly preferred
Strong financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities.
Ability to synthesize data and communicate clearly in a fast‑paced environment
Bachelor's degree
