The CX Design Support role provides technical and design assistance to project teams throughout all phases of projects. This position is dedicated to developing accurate drawings, supporting design intent, and ensuring coordination, quality, and efficiency across project deliverables.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Create, update, and refine SketchUp models to support design studies, site adaptations, visual presentations, and internal team reviews. Assist lead designers with schematic design, contributing to layout development, conceptual studies, and evaluation of design options that best meet client and project goals. Prepare and organize design documentation across various project phases, ensuring all materials meet company standards, templates, and quality expectations. Review drawings and models for technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and constructability, helping identify and resolve design issues early in the process. Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring information is updated, accessible, and stored appropriately in accordance with company protocols. Support project deadlines and production schedules, managing tasks across multiple projects and coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of drawings, models, and design packages.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficient in SketchUp for 3D modeling and design support. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction documents and commercial drawing standards. Working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and accessibility requirements. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with retail, hospitality, convenience stores, fueling stations, truck stops, or multi-site retail programs. Familiarity with prototype-based design and rollout workflows. 3–7 years of architectural production experience in commercial or retail projects.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
