About the role

Develop and grow top and mid level accounts across a diverse range of industries including food, cosmetics, outdoor recreation, photography, stationery, and more

Drive revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and engaging in consultative, conversational selling

Create and manage custom product quotes and special orders tailored to customer needs

Serve as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, and internal logistics teams to ensure expectations are consistently exceeded

Manage your own book of business with autonomy while contributing to a collaborative, growth focused culture

Operate as part of an accountable team built on shared goals, clear expectations, mutual trust, and ownership, where each member takes responsibility for results, follows through on commitments, communicates proactively, supports teammates, and upholds high performance standards

What you'll do

Grow business within the existing customer base while identifying new opportunities to drive consistent annual sales growth

Build and maintain strong, long term customer relationships as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador

Develop deep knowledge of company products and served industries to identify trends and support strategic growth

Proactively follow up on trade show leads and convert prospects into long term business partners

Coordinate and manage product sample requests to support customer decision making

Own customer inquiries and cases, ensuring timely follow up and resolution

Prepare, present, and follow up on accurate customer quotes

Communicate clearly with customers regarding order details and specifications to ensure a seamless experience

Collaborate cross functionally with vendors and internal teams to deliver exceptional service

Conduct business professionally at all times while contributing to a positive, team oriented culture

Qualifications

Proven track record of winning, growing, and managing accounts with a passion for building long term partnerships

Confident and polished communicator across phone, video, and email with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels

Strategic thinker who connects customer needs, industry trends, and business opportunities

Strong relationship builder who establishes rapport easily with customers, vendors, and teammates

Thrives in a collaborative, cross functional environment

Curious, coachable, and motivated by continuous personal and professional growth

Self motivated and goal oriented with the ability to independently manage a book of business

Hands on sales experience with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences from initial contact through long term partnership

Manufacturing or industrial sales experience preferred but not required, with an understanding of how products, processes, and timelines impact customer needs

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities and manage a pipeline effectively

Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly in a fast paced environment

Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and other sales technologies to stay organized and informed

Willingness to maintain a primarily in-office presence for the first three months, followed by a hybrid schedule of 2–5 in-office days per week based on business needs.

The compensation range for this position is $21–$29 per hour. Starting pay is typically aligned with experience and qualifications and is generally expected to fall within the lower to mid portion of the range.
