Client Account Manager (In Person, Kansas City)
Epigraph, Kansas City, Missouri, United States, 64101
We’re hiring a
Client Account Manager (CAM)
at Epigraph (Crossroads, Kansas City) — in person.
Epigraph is a 3D commerce and visualization company. We don’t just make “pretty pictures”—we build interactive product experiences, virtual photography, animation, and architectural visualization that help premium brands and developers sell.
This is a farmer role (existing + previously engaged accounts). Not net-new logo acquisition.
What you own
Long-term client relationship, sentiment, and continuity
Renewals for subscription-based / recurring work
Relationship-level escalation when delivery gets messy
What you do NOT own
Day-to-day project management
Task lists, timelines, asset wrangling, production standups
(Project Management owns execution; you own the commercial and relationship outcomes.)
What success looks like (first 90 days)
Earn trust with key stakeholders across your portfolio
Establish a cadence: kickoffs, mid-project pulse checks, continuity conversations
Build an expansion pipeline and advance opportunities to proposal/close
Demonstrate strong judgment on boundaries (strategic ownership without becoming the PM)
Compensation
Base salary: $70,000–$85,000 (depending on experience)
Variable compensation: tied to retention + expansion outcomes
How to apply (email only — no form) Email caleb@epigraph.us with:
Resume (PDF)
A short cover letter (200–400 words)
Answers to these 3 questions (max 150 words each):
Expansion ownership: describe one expansion/renewal win and your role.
Boundary judgment: project is slipping—what do you do in the first 48 hours (what you own vs PM owns)?
Pushback: example of a scope/timeline/budget pushback and outcome.
If you know someone in Kansas City with agency account leadership or SaaS client success experience (and real expansion instincts), please share.
