
About the Role
The Collector performs A/R collections and billing involving multiple insurance contracts & entities. Analyzes and audits accounts for correct balance, proper follow-up and complete reimbursement. Monitors collection issues and resolves with payor. Processes phone, online and paper inquiries and correspondence taking appropriate collection actions that may include: working rejections/denials, calling for status, tracer claims and rebilling. Identifies misapplied payments and requests payments, adjustments/transfers or refunds.

Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Hospital collector experience requested.
2+ years experience with hospital collections and payer collections/billing.
EPIC experience preferred but not required.
Intermediate level experience.

Workplace Type: Fully onsite position in San Bernardino, CA.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
