About Our Agency I opened my agency in 2019, and since then, we’ve built a close-knit team of five dedicated professionals who truly enjoy working and growing together. Before becoming an agent, I spent 15 years in corporate finance as a CPA in New York, which gave me a strong foundation in helping people make smart financial decisions. I’m a proud Syracuse graduate, a mom to two boys (11 and 13), and when I’m not in the office, you can usually find me on the golf course or spending time with my dog, Charlie.

We’re actively involved in our community, from serving on the board of the Jersey Shore Chambers to participating in networking events, happy hours, and women’s chamber initiatives. Role Description As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Jen Ortiz - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

Responsibilities

Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.

Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.

Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.

Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
