Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Independent Outside Sales Representatives to lead and grow our presence in the NYC hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have established relationships within the territory and a proven track record of calling on commercial designers, procurement groups, and ownership. This role is responsible for driving revenue, expanding visibility, and strengthening key client relationships within the region.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets
Leverage existing relationships and build new connections with designers, procurement teams, ownership groups, and key decision‑makers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
Ability to travel regularly throughout your territory to meet with customers
Assist in the full sales cycle, from lead generation through project close
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing, timelines, and customer needs
Track sales activity, pipeline, and project forecasting
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Be a brand ambassador and a trusted resource to clients on all Houles product categories (Trimming, hardware and fabric)
Proactive business development; seek to develop new and inactive clients
Contribute and provide market feedback from clients
Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities in technology, retail, or other sectors.
Requirements / Skills
2–3 years minimum experience in an outside sales position in the Interior Design Hospitality /Contract industry.
Strong skills in negotiation, lead generation, direct sales, and customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook) required
Follow-up, organization, planning, and documentation skills
Strong work ethic, ambition, and drive
Willingness to learn and adapt to an international environment
