Job Title: Field Sales Manager
Overview We are seeking a driven and experienced
Field Sales Manager
to lead our material handling sales efforts while actively growing and mentoring a high‑performing sales team. This team is responsible for sales of New & Used Forklifts, Floor Care Equipment and various Material Storage solutions in
Walled Lake, Michigan area.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, Train and Lead a team of Sales Professionals focused on selling and delivering material handling equipment to customers.
Provide Coaching, Performance Management, and Strategic Direction to ensure team success while fostering a high‑performance sales culture.
Product Knowledge
Ability to master a full range of products to support and guide your team.
Annual Business Planning
Develop and execute an annual business plan in partnership with Executive Leadership.
Pricing & Proposal Models
Ensure deep understanding of pricing strategies and proposal models to support deals with accuracy and competitiveness.
Market Share Growth
Implement sales strategies that capture market share from larger competitors by emphasizing value, service and responsiveness.
CRM & Sales Reporting
Maintain and Monitor Accurate Record of all sales activities using CRM Tools.
Guide your team in best practices for reporting and pipeline management.
Policy & Process Alignment
Ensure Company policies and procedures are upheld, clearly communicated, and consistently implement across the sales organization.
Required Qualifications
Proven Success in Field Sales (1-3 years) and/or B2B Sales (1-3 years)
Experience Building & Managing a Team (1-3 years)
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year University
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Experience in Sales Leadership
Prior Experience in Material Handling Industry
