Responsibilities
Drive new residential HVAC sales through the plumbing and HVAC wholesale distribution channel, managing manufacturer‑rep agencies and expanding the share of wallet with current distributors.
Develop a sales plan and market‑development strategy to grow the Bosch HVAC portfolio and hit assigned targets.
Provide sales, training, and operational support for all Bosch Home Comfort wholesale accounts and manufacturer reps in the assigned region.
Conduct sales calls in wholesale distribution environments, representing the product line to wholesalers and helping them present our products to contractors, builders, architects, and engineers.
Manage rep activity and performance within the territory.
Understand and maintain the company’s wholesale pricing fundamentals and marketing programs.
Train and educate contractors, builders, architects, and engineers on the product line.
Plan and/or participate in trade shows and other marketing and sales initiatives within the region.
Increase knowledge of product offerings in the territory and communicate that knowledge to stakeholders.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
5+ years proven experience selling technology‑based products, preferably in a B2B marketplace.
5+ years experience calling on contractors and strong industry knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to support a rapidly growing account base while increasing sales year over year.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal‑oriented, self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to changing requirements.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, ACT, and Excel; quick learner of new software.
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within the Northeast, with occasional travel to other states.
Hands‑on installation support and training delivered at customer locations.
Willingness to assist others and collaborate across teams.
Additional Information Travel:
Required up to 80% of the time; 20% based from a home office. Company vehicle provided for business use; travel expenses reimbursed per company guidelines.
Work Authorization:
Indefinite U.S. work‑authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.
Base Salary Range:
$110,000 – $125,000 (per year). Individual pay is determined by experience, job knowledge, complexity, and location. Total compensation may include annual bonuses and other benefits.
