Position Overview We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Manager to lead high-impact sales initiatives, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive market expansion across domestic and international territories. This role is ideal for seasoned leaders with demonstrated experience managing teams, shaping sales strategy, and driving operational excellence. You will oversee sales staff, guide performance development, and collaborate with executive leadership to support long-term organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, goal-setting, and performance evaluations.
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to accelerate revenue growth and expand market presence.
Oversee major client relationships, key accounts, and strategic partner engagements.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
Conduct advanced sales performance analysis, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
Develop high-impact presentations and proposals for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Guide competitive research, market trend identification, and long-term positioning strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development.
Represent the company at high-profile trade shows, conferences, and global sales events.
Management Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to sales team members to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Set clear sales targets and monitor performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Facilitate regular team meetings, strategy sessions, and performance reviews.
Develop training programs to enhance team capabilities and overall sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with HR and executive leadership on workforce planning and team expansion needs.
Qualifications
Fluency in English and Japanese
(reading, writing, and speaking).
Valid U.S. work authorization.
Additional language proficiency is a plus, but not required.
Extensive experience in sales leadership, team management, and business development, preferably within the food industry.
Proven ability to develop and implement data-driven sales strategies.
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
