Entry-Level Dealership Accounting Assistant
Build Your Future with Ed Voyles
Ready to take the next step in your dealership career—and move beyond “just a job”?
If you already understand how a dealership operates and you’re looking for real growth, mentorship, and long-term career potential in accounting and operations, this is your opportunity. At Ed Voyles Automotive Group, we’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant who wants to grow into a high-impact role within our organization. Dealership experience is a plus—but what really matters is your initiative, accuracy, and desire to advance.
This role is ideal for someone currently in a dealership position who’s ready to expand their skill set and build a professional accounting career in automotive.
Why This Role Is Different This is not a “back-office only” position. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to the financial and operational side of a dealership—and learn how every department connects. You’ll be supported by an experienced accounting team and given the tools to grow into more advanced responsibilities. If you’ve been looking for a path forward in your dealership career, this is it.
What You’ll Do You’ll play a key role in the daily accounting operations of one of our dealerships, including:
Preparing and posting daily deposits
Calling and following up on Parts & Service A/R balances
Stocking in vehicles accurately and on time
Processing floorplan payoffs
Reconciling and maintaining organized title drawers
Posting warranty statements and maintaining daily schedules
Assisting with title work and supporting the accounting team as needed
Every task you handle directly supports the success of the dealership. Your accuracy and follow-through truly matter.
Who Thrives in This Role This position is a great fit for someone who:
Already works in a dealership environment—or has at least one year of dealership accounting experience (preferred)
Is highly detail-driven and takes pride in getting things right the first time
Understands how small errors can create big downstream issues
Can manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Is comfortable using Excel and dealership systems
Learns quickly and enjoys improving processes
Is motivated by growth and long-term career opportunity
If you’re the person who double-checks your work, notices what others miss, and wants to keep advancing—not staying in the same role year after year—you’ll fit in well here.
