
Job Description
L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom‑made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction and heavy industrial industries. This role will collaborate with internal teams to ensure product build is on track and on target per customer specifications, and will help us connect with customers around the world.
How will you make a difference? As a member of the CS department, you will provide the department with support, product knowledge, and assist in communication and problem solving. Your responsibilities include data entry and checking of orders, quotes, and purchase orders; learning customer portals for entering and retrieving orders; collaborating with internal engineering and sales on quoting, pricing and delivery; working within deadlines; establishing customer relationships; and helping the team produce the world’s best heat‑transfer solutions worldwide.
What will your typical day look like?
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
Provide order status, documentation, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
Capture Voice of Customer and identify service or aftermarket opportunities.
Escalate risks early to the Manager.
Check quotes to ensure customers receive accurate, correct, and proper product quotes, information and materials.
Manage intercompany orders.
Process customer and vendor purchase orders in the ERP system (Epicor).
Respond to customer service needs in a timely, respectful, and diligent manner.
Maintain all required records clearly, accurately, and completely.
Follow all department procedures, processes and instructions set forth by the customer service manager.
Follow all corporate policies and procedures and support management decisions.
Communicate with other departments as required.
Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety guidelines/procedures.
Travel domestically and internationally, including weekends, as needed for projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned and deemed necessary by Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level
Regular and reliable attendance.
Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
Technical, mechanical, and industrial knowledge, including blueprint reading.
Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, independently, under pressure, and with accuracy.
Strong prioritization skills and ability to complete assignments efficiently with excellent attention to detail.
Dependability under both supervised and unsupervised conditions.
Professional phone and email etiquette.
Organized, thorough, and capable of following through.
Ability to sit for long periods of time and multi‑task throughout the day.
Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol, and background test.
Qualifications
18 years old or older.
Current driver’s license.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
2‑year associate degree or 4–6 years’ experience in industrial customer service or inside sales, or prior L&M experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Epicor or a similar ERP system.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
This role is also eligible for a performance bonus.

The salary range for this role is between $62,100 and $108,600. The actual salary rate offered may be influenced by training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
