Project / Marketing Manager
to lead the planning and execution of artist campaigns across recorded music releases. The ideal candidate has
5+ years of experience in the music industry , a proven track record of managing complex release campaigns, and the ability to operate with precision in a fast‑moving environment.
Role Overview The Project Manager will oversee end‑to‑end campaign execution for assigned artists, ensuring flawless coordination across marketing, digital, creative, A&R, distribution, DSPs, publicity, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle project management of singles, EPs, and albums
Oversee and collaborate on digital marketing efforts across social platforms
Build and maintain comprehensive release timelines and campaign calendars
Drive cross‑functional alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders
Coordinate asset delivery (audio, artwork, video, metadata) with zero margin for error
Manage budgets, approvals, and campaign reporting
Partner with DSPs and distribution teams to optimize release execution
Identify operational efficiencies and proactively solve bottlenecks
Ensure every campaign meets Darkroom’s creative and commercial standards
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management within a record label, distributor, or artist management company
Deep understanding and experience in working across digital marketing and the social media landscape
Demonstrated success managing multi‑format campaigns at scale
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to operate under pressure with discretion and accountability
Strong communication skills with executives, artists, and partners
Advanced proficiency in project management tools and release tracking systems
