Champions Run is a private 18‑hole course located in the Northwest part of Omaha, Nebraska. Opened in 1992, Champions is a very well‑respected home to 400+ golf members with an extensive waiting list. The membership loves the course, the club and the culture.
Champions Run is pleased to announce the opening of the position of Assistant Superintendent. Under the direction of the Director of Agronomy and the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will help provide consistent tournament‑like conditions every day. The previous assistant has moved on to a superintendent role, and this position is a great spot for an individual who wants to learn, grow and move on to be a superintendent in the future. The current agronomy team is well‑tenured and provides a world‑class culture and we are looking to find that next person to complete the team. With over 150 years of combined golf course experience on staff, we strive to make the course 1% better every day.
We are a very involved team with GCSAA and hope to find someone who wants to continue to grow and give back to the profession.
Qualifications
2+ years of golf course experience
Turf degree or certificate
Spray certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days
Ability to learn and communicate
