Position Summary The Mobile Club Director delivers Boys & Girls Club programming to youth and teens across the organizations Clubhouses, neighborhoods, schools, and community centers.
The Mobile Club Director is responsible for creating safe, fun, and engaging environments that bring a high-quality Club experience directly to youth and teens – that will emphasize on programming, youth program quality, mobile operations, administrative compliance, and youth engagement and safety.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Program Delivery & Accountability
Consistent Program Implementation
Deliver Boys & Girls Club programs with fidelity, ensuring activities meet established goals and standards.
Arrive prepared with program outline(s), curriculum and additional program materials.
Results-Orientated Planning
Aligning programming with organizational priorities such as Stem, workforce readiness, and youth development outcomes.
Measure success through engagement, skill growth, and consistent participation.
Continuous Improvement
Reflect on program delivery, implement feedback, and identify opportunities to enhance youth impact.
Participate in ongoing training to strengthen facilitation and youth engagement skills.

Mobile Operations & Accountability
Safe & Reliable Operations
Ensure the Mobile Club operates safely and in compliance with all traffic and organizational policies.
Conduct daily safety inspections, fuel checks, and routine maintenance to keep the vehicle in top condition.
Report any mechanical or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Inventory & Equipment Care
Track and manage all mobile program supplies, technology, and materials.
Ensure all items are stored securely and replenished as needed.
Handle equipment responsibly to prevent damage or loss.
Community Representation & Accountability
Serve as a professional ambassador of the Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana in all community settings.
Model Club I-Care values through positive interactions with youth, families, partners.
Support outreach and engagement efforts to expand Club visibility and impact across neighborhoods.
Administrative Compliance & Accountability
Accurate Documentation
Complete all required attendance records, incident reports, and program evaluations accurately and on time.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all records comply with Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana policies and state/federal regulations.
Policy Adherence
Follow all Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana policies, procedures, and safety standards and implement consistently in daily operations.
Reporting & Communication
Submit required reports, forms, and updates to supervisors promptly.
Maintain consistent, professional communication regarding schedules, incidents, and program outcomes.
Financial & Resource Accountability
Manage program materials, equipment, and supplies responsibly to avoid waste or loss.
Follow established procedures for purchases, receipts, and budget reporting when applicable.
Youth Engagement, Safety & Accountability
Active Youth Engagement
Create a fun, inclusive, and interactive experience that encourages consistent participation.
Foster positive relationships to promote trust, confidence, and belonging.
Empower youth to take leadership roles and share input in program planning and activities.
Safe Club Environment
Maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for all youth and teens.
Enforce Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana safety policies and behavior expectations with consistency and fairness.
Monitor all youth and teens at all times to prevent unsafe or unsupervised situations.
Behavior Guidance & Support
Use positive behavior management techniques that focus on redirection, encouragement, and accountability.
Respond to incidents calmly and respectfully while following Club procedures for reporting and documentation.
Support youth and teens in understanding the impact of their actions and in developing self-regulation skills.
Safety Compliance & Procedures
Follow all organizational safety protocols including emergency preparedness, transportation and supervision ratios.
Conduct regular safety checks of Mobile Club and equipment.
Additional Responsibilities
Will be required to drive Club vehicles
May be required to run program areas as needed
Travel between Clubs and/or the Admin Office for trainings and meetings
All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements of the Work Environment
Ability to drive a large commercial grade vehicle
Ability to work in a fast-paced and loud environment
Ability to continuously stand and move around the Club
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
Ability to navigate stairs (if located at our Parkland or California Clubs)
A passion and understanding of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of BGCK
An understanding of the needs and interests of young people
Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, and cooperative attitude in the workplace
High ethical standards
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to supervise and motivate staff
Ability to deal effectively with youth
Qualifications
Education
High School degree or G.E.D. is required
College degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization which includes the supervision of youth and the implementation of programs and activities
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a supervisor
Skills
including appropriate discipline techniques
Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal staff and external partners
