
Harley-Davidson BDC Associate (Business Development Center)

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused BDC Associate to manage inbound digital and phone leads while supporting the dealership’s sales goals. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional customer experience through timely lead response, effective communication, and strong CRM management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Response
Promptly respond to inbound digital inquiries, phone calls, and text messages. Qualify leads by gathering customer information and identifying needs. Accurately document all interactions and maintain updated records in the CRM system. Provide accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, and promotions. Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency. Maintain high customer satisfaction and service standards. Schedule appointments for test rides, showroom visits, and consultations. Transfer qualified leads (T.O.) to the sales team for follow-up. Assist with promoting current offers, events, and dealership initiatives. Communication & Follow-Up
Maintain consistent contact with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and text. Conduct follow-ups to maximize sales opportunities and customer retention. Keep customers informed about new products, services, and upcoming events. Track and report lead handling activity and performance results. Collaborate with the BDC and sales teams to improve processes and outcomes. Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training. Administrative Support
Complete administrative tasks related to customer and lead management. Assist with preparing reports and sales activity analysis as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications
Coachable and able to follow a structured sales and lead-handling process. Friendly, enthusiastic, dependable, and a strong team player. Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Comfortable making outbound calls daily. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Flexible schedule availability. Previous BDC, internet sales, or dealership experience is a must Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Proven track record of related experience and training. Dealership or automotive/motorcycle industry experience. Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands/arms. Frequent computer use and ability to handle phones and office equipment. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. What We Offer
