Job Title: Salesforce System Business Analyst (Techno-Functional)
Duration: 12-month contract
Role Overview:
The Salesforce BSA should be techno-functional. Should be able to talk technical/understand Salesforce to a level where he/she could effectively communicate with Developers and PO Salesforce Admin certification is preferred. Good business analysis skills and communication.
Effective work with various stakeholders in a challenging environment. The person on average should plan to be in office (Johnston, RI) at least 2 times a month. Techno Functional Candidate -with salesforce Knowledge -can lead discussions and discovery sessions with Business.
Can also directly work with devs and testers. Be actively involved in all the stages of SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business discovery sessions, requirement workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and product owners.
Support end-to-end SDLC activities including requirement gathering, solution design inputs, testing coordination, UAT support, and deployment readiness.
Communicate effectively with technical teams by understanding Salesforce data model, workflows, integrations, and configuration capabilities.
Work in a cross-functional environment managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Ensure requirements traceability, documentation quality, and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce BSA in a techno-functional capacity.
Strong business analysis skills: requirement elicitation, documentation, stakeholder management, and process mapping.
Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities (objects, flows, security, reports, integrations, and configurations).
Ability to communicate effectively with developers, testers, and business teams without hands-on coding responsibilities.
Experience participating across all phases of the SDLC.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations in complex environments.
Prior experience working in hybrid/on-site stakeholder environments.

This is a techno-functional role; no coding or development work is required.
Candidate should be comfortable working closely with business teams while engaging technical teams to drive solution delivery.
