Description The nCino Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable user stories, managing user acceptance testing, and delivering data-driven insights to improve product adoption and effectiveness. With a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, the role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, nCino administrators, and training teams—ensuring clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires deep nCino experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Story Refinement
Lead meetings with super users, stakeholders, and members of Management to gather detailed business requirements
Document and translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
Manage user acceptance testing, drafting test scripts and coordinating with super users.
Identify and track issues during user acceptance testing, escalating significant business decisions to the Product Owner or relevant stakeholder
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze nCino usage, user survey results and feedback generating insights to improve user adoption.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Prepare actionable insights and provide clear reporting to inform backlog prioritization and product improvements.
Prepare regular updates on backlog status, sprint progress, adoption metrics, and key decisions
Collaborate with the Product Owner to define relevant KPIs; track and analyze these metrics to measure solution effectiveness and inform backlog prioritization
Training & Cross-Team Collaboration
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during training sessions, offering business context and clarifying requirements
Collaborate with the training team to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials and content.
Collaborate closely with nCino admins and training team to ensure clear communication of technical issues, escalations, and resolutions.
Serve as a communication bridge between nCino admins, training and business product owner for issue escalation and resolution tracking.
Coordinate with nCino admins and training team to resolve issues, ensuring stakeholders receive timely updates and clarity.
Required Qualifications Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, finance, or a related field.
5+ years of direct experience working with the nCino platform in a commercial or retail banking environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
nCino certifications (e.g., nCino Commercial Banking or Admin)
Salesforce Admin or App Builder certification
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools
Familiarity with banking regulations, credit policies, or loan servicing
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
