
Lead eCommerce Analyst.
Summary
At Home is seeking a Lead eCommerce Analyst to join our eCommerce team. This role owns analytics across the digital customer journey, turning behavioral, transactional, and marketing data into clear insights that drive revenue, conversion, and customer experience improvements.
This is a digital analytics and insights role. It is not a BI developer, data engineer, or database administration position. The ideal candidate has strong experience in web analytics, experimentation, and marketing performance analysis, and is comfortable partnering with senior leaders to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Own analytics and reporting for the eCommerce organization, serving as the primary point of contact for analytics requests
Analyze customer behavior, navigation patterns, page performance, and conversion funnels to identify growth and optimization opportunities
Develop and maintain dashboards and standardized reporting focused on core KPIs such as traffic, conversion, revenue, and engagement
Partner closely with eCommerce senior leadership to identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and customer experience
Own site tagging strategy and governance, partnering with Development and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and quality
Provide data driven insights to support site optimization initiatives and improve overall conversion performance
Play a key role in the A/B testing program, including test design support, performance analysis, and post test readouts
Analyze marketing attribution and channel performance, partnering with Marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and customer acquisition impact
Educate stakeholders on web analytics and promote a self service analytics culture across the eCommerce team
Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, UX, and Finance teams to deliver insights tailored to their business needs
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both peers and executive leadership
Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in web or digital analytics
Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics and site tagging. Experience with Adobe Launch is preferred
Experience in eCommerce or retail analytics, with a focus on customer journey, conversion, and marketing performance
Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to non technical audiences
Strong problem solving mindset with experience diagnosing and resolving data quality issues
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and insight storytelling skills
Strong presentation skills
