Job Summary The Indy Fuel and Fishers Freight are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to serve as Social Media Manager. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing best practices across the team’s social and digital media presence. This position will oversee the social media channels for both the Indy Fuel of the ECHL and the Fishers Freight of the Indoor Football League. The Social Media Manager will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities

Create and manage daily social media copywriting and publishing across Indy Fuel and Fishers Freight platforms

Produce original content for social channels, including photography and videography

Provide live game coverage for all home games and select road games

Compile and report digital and social media analytics through Sprout Social

Collaborate with the sponsorship team to develop ideas for digital and social activations

Plan, create, and execute sponsored digital content

Monitor social platforms and actively engage with fans and followers

Identify new, innovative ways to grow and expand the brand presence

Run all Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok followers and ticket campaign ads

Collaborate with local Indianapolis influencers for giveaways, collaboration videos, etc.

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (sports marketing, media, communications, or similar)

1–2 years of experience using photo and video editing software (e.g., Capcut or Adobe Creative Suite)

1–2 years of experience using Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, etc.

1–2 years of experience in digital/social media, journalism, interactive marketing, creative services, or a related field

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated experience with major social media platforms, audience demographics, and analytics tools

Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in an always-on sports environment

Strong working knowledge of all major social media platforms

Experience in producing and editing photo and video content using both mobile devices and DSLR cameras

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
