NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a
Public Relations Associate
to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a
part-time Hybrid, Contract
position.
SALARY:
$27-$32 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Familiarity with media monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) and PR software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Local Tampa Bay media contacts are a plus
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing PR strategies and campaigns
Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials
Maintain and update media contact lists and databases
Monitor media coverage and compile performance reports
Coordinate interviews, press events, and media briefings
Support crisis communication efforts as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure message consistency
Track PR calendars, deadlines, and deliverables
Research media trends, journalist interests, and competitor activity
