As a Walmart Connect PLUS (Paid Leave United Support) Sales Partner, you're in the right place at the right time to ride the retail media trend at the largest retailer in the world! It's your opportunity to bring to life full‑funnel performant advertising solutions for brands across categories you will manage. You will be a consultative sales partner to your clients, merchandising partners, and marketing support to grow your client's business and drive revenue at Walmart. You will drive client meetings with a particular focus on providing expertise for our PLUS ad products. Your primary goal will be increasing adoption of our ad products by acting as a connective tissue between Walmart Connect teams (Sales and Product) and our advertisers. You will have the opportunity to make an impact at a senior stakeholder level as a member of cross‑functional teams.

What you’ll do

Consults with cross‑functional partners to create custom advertising solutions that address both short‑term and long‑term customer needs. Communicates effectively with colleagues across different departments or specialties within an organization. Leverages the strengths and skills of each team to achieve common goals. Articulates ideas, plans, and priorities to team members across different functions and actively listens to input from other teams to incorporate feedback into sales strategies and objectives.

Manages financial results in an assigned area of responsibility. Understands the financial aspects of the role including revenue generation, budgeting, and cost efficiency. Makes decisions that positively impact the financial health of the organization. Implements effective sales strategies that maximize profitability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Leverages data and metrics to analyze problems and evaluate potential solutions. Demonstrates creative thinking, analytical reasoning, and the application of sales knowledge and experience. Differentiates between symptoms and root causes to ensure effective problem‑solving for sales‑related problems.

Establishes, maintains, and improves relationships with clients and colleagues. Creates a strong client base and fosters a positive work environment. Addresses conflicts proactively, seeking win‑win solutions by maintaining professionalism and composure during difficult conversations or disputes.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly. Develops contingency plans and demonstrates adaptability and support for continuous learning.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team‑based work environment, establishing performance expectations, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards, coaching for success and improvement, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.

Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.

Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (e.g., television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.

5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.

5 years’ experience managing client accounts.

5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C‑suite clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.

Annual salary range: $108,000.00 – $216,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
