Signal Mountain Golf and Country Clubis seeking a driven Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who wants increased visibility and professional growth. This position offers the opportunity to take on meaningful ownership in daily operations while developing the skills needed for the next step in your career. The goal for the person in this role is to move on to a Golf Course Superintendent position or an Assistant role at a top tier club. Mentorship, education, and professional development will be supported, and the Assistant will be involved in the next major phases of course renovation. SMGCC is a private club that hosts approximately 18,000 rounds annually. Signal Mountain offers a true small town feel while being just ten minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Located in the transition zone at roughly 1,800 feet of elevation, the course presents a challenging growing environment with exposure to both warm and cool season turf. The goal is for the candidate to leave this position prepared for their next role. Experience in golf course maintenance. Strong desire to become a golf course superintendent.
