Account Executive
in
Louisville, KY!
The Enterprise Fleet Management Account Executive (AE) role is a business-to-business (B2B) and government business sales position, with a substantial portion of the Account Executive’s functions being performed outside of the office. The AE is responsible for identifying, educating, fostering partnerships, and onboarding new accounts by phone and in-person follow‑up. Through ongoing face‑to‑face interactions, active listening, industry expertise, and analysis, AEs are responsible for delivering a proactive fleet management solution that highlights the financial and operational value of partnering with Enterprise Fleet Management. As a result of establishing themselves as a trusted advisor, AEs secure client referrals, deliver excellent customer service, and ultimately provide total mobility solutions.
The opportunity for growth in this position is quite significant with a career path leading to management or into a senior sales role as well as tremendous income potential!

Competitive base salary ranging from $72,000 to $115,000 annually, with potential for unlimited earnings based on experience and performance

Responsibilities
Identify B2B and government business leads through effective research analysis, suspecting and prospecting activities (including internal and external referrals, cold calling, email marketing and other outbound activities)
Responsible for onboarding new business and internal transitions among fellow Enterprise Fleet Management team members, to deliver a positive client experience
Create a customized fleet plan recommendation that highlights the financial and operational value of partnering with Enterprise Fleet Management
Learn about prospects’ business through effective fact finding
Review prospects’ fleet needs, financials, industry trends, and outlook to make recommendations that best meet clients’ business objectives
Identify opportunities for total mobility recommendations – develop referrals to additional EM business lines, if applicable
Secure and establish a strategic meeting cadence to present and sell decision makers (meetings include but are not limited to a fact find, presentation, transition meeting, and onboarding activities)
Successfully close quality accounts and effectively execute onboarding activities that deliver on the value proposition presented
Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by partnering with Client Strategy Managers, Account Fleet Coordinators, and other internal stakeholders to maximize the value of dedicated fleet management services
Proactively build and maintain initial and long‑term relationships with decision‑makers to secure new business and account referrals
Actively maintain industry knowledge by regularly reviewing key publications and attending webinars to bolster business knowledge and ensure subject matter expertise, thus becoming a trusted business advisor
Establish an individual professional network that includes active engagement in local associations, leveraged professional social platforms, and synergistic partnerships

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications include:
Completed Bachelor's degree required
Must reside in the Metropolitan Louisville, KY area
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of prior successful business to business (B2B)/outside sales experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred
Experience Selling to C‑Suite preferred
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations within the last three (3) years
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record (ie., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past five (5) years
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
