Job Responsibilities:
Light, style, and photograph Ecomm product according to established Arhaus creative direction and lighting standards.
Photograph company events, ceremonies, environmental portraits, etc. when required to support cross functional and partner initiatives
Maintain an efficient workflow to ensure the completion of the daily production requirements
Digital asset management; file naming, organizing, and archival of image capture sessions
Maintain a high standard of quality for all deliverables in support of the Photography Manager
Create and maintain documentation of Standard Operating Procedures
Direct the Photography Assistant and/or Stylist on set
Training and facilitating of freelance photographers and photo assistants
Coordinate with Production and Operations personnel to ensure the timely movement of product, props, and assets on and off set safely and efficiently
Lift and move heavy furniture and photography equipment
Skills / Competencies:
Extensive experience with Studio lighting and rigging
Advanced lighting techniques for glass and reflective materials
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Capture One Studio, iOS, and MS 365
Use of Photoshop knowledge and experience to guide decision making and best practices on set
An intuitive sense of image composition and understanding of additive color theory
Quickly and fluidly adapt to change
The ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
Product styling
Set styling
Basic carpentry skills and tool use
Self-starter seeking to learn, improve, and contribute to a team-based environment
Driven to exceed expectations and standards
High degree of integrity and accountability
Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
Minimum- Associate’s Degree in Photography
Printed portfolio or website showcasing previous work
2+ year's experience as a Product Photographer
Understanding of best practices, responsibilities, and workflow within a large, fast paced, photography studio environment
