NNE is seeking aLandman I-IVfor its Morgantown, WV office. This position will be responsible for supporting the acquisition, management, and administration of oil and gas leases and related agreements within Northeast Natural Energy’s operational areas, primarily in West Virginia. This role involves negotiating with landowners, managing field personnel, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The Landman will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate drilling and development activities. These functions will enhance the operational footprint of the company in West Virginia.This position requires the candidate to work on-site; it is NOT a remote position. Responsibilities

Lease Acquisition & Negotiation

Negotiate oil and gas leases, amendments, and related agreements with prominent landowners, attorneys, and mineral companies. Coordinate with field personnel including Project Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Land Agents to ensure wells are cleared in accordance with NNE’s development schedule. Title & Ownership Research

Coordinate with NNE’s Title & Curative teams to ensure all assigned units are properly titled and cured in a timely manner Ensure adherence to West Virginia statutes, including §22C-9-7a regarding unitization and pooling for horizontal wells, and § 37B-1-1 regarding the use of Co-Tenancy. Prepare HUO Applications for the WV Oil & Gas Conservation Commission. Prepare WV 6A1 Lease Information Sheets Coordinate with NNE’s Regulatory Department for lateral survey and permitting purposes. Data Management

Maintain accurate records and report on status of all assigned units. Prepare and maintain detailed unit budgets on a monthly basis Track lease obligations, expirations, and payment schedules. Stakeholder Relations

Serve as a primary point of contact for landowners, attorneys, and local officials. Address inquiries and resolve issues related to leases and operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with drilling, engineering, and legal teams to support well planning and development. Qualifications and Skills Required

Five years of industry experience Research skills and basic legal knowledge related to title, real estate and oil and gas documents Knowledge of spreadsheets Working knowledge of courthouse research protocol and tax maps Ability to work well with others Excellent organizational skills Broad and detailed knowledge of oil and gas business and land rights Other Requirements

Social perceptiveness and ability to manage time efficiently. Ability to comprehend and communicate orally and through written communication and coordinate with others. Aptitude for advanced deductive reasoning and speaking in public. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires prolonged sitting at a desk using a computer and other office equipment.
