UDR Consulting Inc is hiring: Procedure Writer in Los Alamos

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure Writer opportunity in Los Alamos, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).

Per diem is available for those who qualify.
Work Location: Remote/Hybrid
Duration: Approximately 3 months

The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation's only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.

Job Description:
Duties shall include, but are not limited to:

• Reformat procedure writer policy guide.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of procedure writing or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years of procedure writing experience.
• 10-15+ years of procedure writing experience desired.
• Procedure writing in a DOE environment is required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word.
• Strong writing skills are a must.
• PPA Certification is a plus.
• Must be able to work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of nuclear facility conduct of operations and or conduct of maintenance is a plus.
• You must be able to work under pressure in a competitive environment with strict deadlines.
