This key leadership position is responsible for managing all accounting functions, producing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and manufacturer reporting requirements. You'll oversee a high-performing office staff and collaborate closely with dealership leadership and the company CFO. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all financial operations for Toyota of Helena and Ford of Helena. • Produce timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with manufacturer formats and requirements. • Supervise and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vehicle deal booking, and contract funding processes. • Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal financial controls. • Collaborate directly with department managers (Service, Sales, Parts, Detail) and dealership General Managers. • Work closely with the CFO to align dealership financials with company-wide objectives. • Lead and support a team of 4–5 office staff, providing guidance and accountability. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Proven leadership experience in accounting or financial management roles. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (preferred, not required). • Public accounting background. • Experience as an Audit Manager at a Big 4 accounting firm. • Experience as an accounting consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm. • Automotive industry experience is a plus. Reporting Structure: • Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). • Collaborates with General Managers, Department Managers, and company leadership.
