as the Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions for our Executive MBA program. This role will represent the program, attract, evaluate, and enroll accomplished professionals seeking accelerated leadership development.
Summary Statement
The Assistant Director reports to the Senior Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and collaborates with the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment Team to recruit and admit students, ensuring enrollment goals and target cohort profiles are met.
Key Responsibilities
Drive enrollment through targeted recruitment strategies: outreach via phone, email, events, and engagement with students and alumni.
Evaluate applications for the Executive MBA and other graduate programs, assessing work experience, academics, test scores, and interviews; recommend admissions and fellowship decisions.
Collaborate with Brand Management and Senior Associate Director of Graduate Admissions to design email marketing campaigns that highlight program strengths and increase application submissions.
Support the MBA recruitment team by conducting candidate interviews, reviewing applications, attending events, and participating in recruitment travel as needed.
Coordinate with other Mendoza teams to ensure a successful student journey, including orientation and ongoing student service communications; create and analyze weekly enrollment reports and contribute to performance management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3–4 years of experience in admissions, recruiting, or a related field
Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport and trust
Organized, proactive self‑starter with curiosity and a growth mindset
Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
