SBM Management is looking for a new
Custodian/CSR
to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial team members who have strong customer service skills and can work successfully with other team members. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions both oral and written, and can give, receive, or explain job-related data using basic communication skills. Requires good judgment in thought and/or decision-making and may need to explain work methods and instructions. May aid in training others or demonstrate work processes.
Responsibilities
Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops at risk behavior of others and self.
Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Present a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand reporting systems and the environment.
Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables; straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms; pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas; light vacuuming; dusting; restocking supplies.
In between events, assist with cleaning drop-in desktops, restocking restrooms & break rooms, damp mop floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, and restocking supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas; clean elevators; spot-clean upholstered furniture and carpets; dust open common spaces.
Qualifications
Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and recognize basic words and numbers; print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Basic arithmetic skills (add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide with tens and hundreds)
Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time; proof of vehicle registration and insurance may be required
Bilingual is a plus, not required
Compensation Compensation:
$15.00-$15.50 per hour.

Monday - Friday 3:30 am - 12:00 pm
