Field/ Gym Staff ($15–$16.50/hour) (Available year-round) Sports Official ($22.75–$23.75/hour) (Approximately April–October) Positions will remain open until filled. You are encouraged to apply early. Responsibilities
Field/ Gym Staff : Monitors participant behavior and attendance; interprets rules regarding code of conduct; leads participants in activities and/or may monitor activities led by other staff; sets up and stores equipment; provides first aid supplies to the injured and calls EMS if needed; warns persons of rule infractions or violations, and evicts violators from premises. Sports Official : Officiates various sports leagues and activities (softball, basketball, volleyball, etc.); interprets rules regarding sports play; assists in pre-game setup of the assigned field or court; enforces policies, rules and regulations governing the conduct of facility patrons. Qualifications
Field/ Gym Staff : Age 18; Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Experience: Six months paid work experience in park/event or recreation facility operations; License: Valid driver’s license. Sports Official : Age 18; Required Certifications: Valid driver's license and valid official's certification for sanctioned sport(s); Experience: Previous officiating experience is preferred.
