About the Role

The Company is in need of a dynamic Interim CMO to spearhead its marketing strategy, demand generation, and growth acceleration within a scaled software organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving pipeline performance, refining the company's market positioning, and modernizing the marketing engine. This role requires a leader who can shape and execute an integrated marketing strategy that is in line with revenue goals, strengthen the alignment of go-to-market teams, and build a robust demand generation engine with a focus on modern ABM, digital programs, and strong attribution discipline. The Interim CMO will also be tasked with optimizing the marketing tech stack, data, analytics, and processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and ROI.

Applicants for the Interim CMO position at the company must have a proven track record in Interim or Fractional CMO leadership, with deep experience in SaaS or software growth environments. Expertise in building and scaling demand generation within organizations at the $300M-$500M revenue scale is essential, as is a strong command of data-driven marketing, pipeline forecasting, and performance measurement. While not mandatory, a background in private equity-backed operating models, experience with M&A integration or portfolio expansion, and a history of transformational leadership in scaling or restructuring environments are considered advantageous. The role also involves team leadership, so the ability to guide and develop the marketing organization is a key requirement.
